The Beauty of Leaves

As the oaken green leaves that lived so firm
Begin to fade and turn to colors of another beauty.
Orange, red, magenta and yellows of different hues.
So is life, as we age through  years of strife.

To become fragile with age, our colors too begin to turn
Into another beauty of wisdom, patience, love.
And understandings we never knew before.
In accepting our fate, holding to God's love.

As we feel our bodies tremble, become weaker and frail
Like the leaves on the trees become every fall of the year.
To grow browner, and eventually turn into dust.
And unite with the amosphere of the world.

So do we become, our bodies become dust, mix with the air.
While our souls live on, in another dimension
And the earth goes on, and heaven opens its doors.
A new day is born, a new youth survivres.
TO BECOME THE BEAUTY OF AGE
OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

The Holy One

Supreme intellect of all mankind
Realization of life in body and mind.
To whom when thought and action goes
Our love and feeling of life grows.

Intense desire to become one with him.
In knowledge of universal lore so dim.
To us on earth that each in his own.
Have a beginning and end to be known.

Intimacy is God's love for all.
My love for God that brings a call.
To prayer and hope, and very soon.
Calmness and serenity wil ever loom.

Fulfillment to see the Holy One's face
Is my desire this day and place.
To once again feel sated in love
Of the Holy Spirit  from above.

My Beautiful Family

My Beautiful Family

The oldest is in his fifties now, and still growing
In wisdom and hopefully much happiness
The younger is wise beyond reproach
And needs a softer touch in life's habits

The eldest granddaughter has become a mother
Who dwells in a land of little people with love.
Her younger  sister is learning all about the world
That give mysterys beyond anyone's power

Smart as a whip and reaching for the sky
Is my third granddaughter, life is becoming interesting
My grandson is my favorite one and only.
Who carries much upon his young broad shoulders

I love this beautiful family, and  pray to God
To watch over them daily, and give them a boost.
When I leave this planet.  I don't want them to miss me.
But to know that they are the best of me on earth.

It's Your Next Move, Lord

IT'S YOUR NEXT MOVE, LORD

Do you see the devil's leer when you get up every morning?

When you listen to Darwin's Theory of Evolution, which tries to say that God did not make the heavens and earth, you can only wonder. Any sensible person realizes that God would use the elements and evolution to help create what he wants - bearing in mind, that the evil devil keeps close and does put snags in the way.
The devil leers at the way television is confusing and not amusing in displays of nudity and inmortality that is being shown every day.

There are those who question the Virgin Mary's virginity, they ponder all the impossibility of this. But they do not know of God's great power as one who created magnitude of things,  so,  what is the impossibility of Mary being born without sin. The Virgin Mary, born without the devil's evil original sin,, was by God's power able to retain her virginity as the Holy Spirit brought her the necessary sperm to form a child, keeping her virginity intact. Jesus's birth was a miracle in itself his being born in a stable, under the Lord's protection, with only Joseph to help in the birth process. Tenderly handling the child in work worn hands to bathe him and hand him to Mary who put him in swaddling clothes. ( which I learned were children's wrapping, they used wrapped the newborns for protection from the elements, etc which was obviously wise in that day).

The older one gets the more obvious it becomes that we are put on this earth as pawns - God made us to be his perfection for heaven. The devil tries and has been forever trying to usurp his power and put us under his domain of hell. It becomes our struggle to resist the devil and hold fast to God and follow Jesus who God sent to help make us more perfect. It was through Jesus that the Holy Spirit was sent down to earth which I can only believe is the teachings and religion that Jesus Christ brought to us through his crucifixion. The holier one strives to be the harder the devil digs into us. By the end of life it depends on which has had the most hold on you to determine your demise - heaven or hell. This is truly a proving ground, and will always remain so, the world will never change, wars etc will continue until the Lord determines that enough is enough- we cannot change the world, only ourselves.

So the next move is up to you Lord.

This is me

Life's prayers answered-Thank you God

As a lonely child who no one would listen to.
I prayed, and you answered me.
By giving me the urge to write it all down
Which gave me years of a way to let of steam.

When I ended up in Shreveport, with no job.
A three year old son to feed and support.
An old car ready to completely fall apart.
I prayed, and you answered me.

I ended up having two jobs (which it took to
make ends meet)
And soon you sent my,my knight in shining
armour, of the Air Force Uniform.
Who married me and took me home.

When he lay on his back at Lackland AFB.
With only a fifty percent chance to ever walk again.
I prayed, and you answered me.
He walked and kept on walking for forty  three
happy years. For this all I thank you God.

Monday - time to get started on writing again.

Getting on with life.

Once upon a day so dreary.
Came to me an angel, so weary
Of life that seemed too hard to take.
Who wanted a command for me to make.

Get up and dance, dance and be happy.
Life's too short, so make it snappy.
Get your butt up and make it go.
Have some energy and you will know.

Movement alone helps your mood.
Even though the best is food.
Use it all wisely and it will give.
You every thing you need to live.

So, go,get up and go.
Keep moving just to know
You can get along in life.
Without a whole lot of strife.

The news is lousy, the weather bad
Everything you see or hear, makes you sad
Forget about it and just move on.
Another day, and this days' mood is gone.
